Regarding the conduct of examinations by government and private universities in the state, Education Minister Shri Bhupendusinh Chudasama today clarified that in the coming days, the annual examinations of the students studying in the colleges owned by the universities will be held. But the UGC Guidelines on Examinations as per the instructions and recommendations of the Committee of Expert Members to decide on Examinations and other matters by the State Government
This important clarification was made by the Education Minister Shri Bhupendusinh Chudasama in a video conference held at Gandhinagar today to review the work done by the state government and private universities for public awareness and necessary protection from Corona.
Regarding the examinations of the universities, the Minister of Education also told the Phulpatis that we have to proceed as per the guidelines of the task force set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India to conduct the examinations of the universities. The Education Minister also appealed to the Chancellor to immediately send instructions on how to conduct annual examinations for college students.
Referring to the situation created by Korona Kovid-12 in the entire state, the Education Minister said that this is a challenging time. The Education Minister also called upon the Chancellor to prepare a university syllabus that would provide public awareness, training, education and guidance to deal with any kind of calamity in the future. He said Corona has changed the way the world deals and administers.
Methods and lifestyles will also have to change. The previous disasters were visual disasters, which we could see and which we have successfully faced. But even though this calamity has disappeared, the entire country and the people and the administration of our state are facing it with courage.
The Education Minister also stressed on the need for research on experiments in the coming days to automate sanitation in homes, offices or vehicles through startups.
The Minister of State for Education, Mrs. Vibhavari Bahan Dave, who was present at the video conference, said that it was time for us to turn this disaster into an opportunity. During this time, the state education department, including you, has done a very useful job for the students through technology. We will get the result in the coming days.
Principal Secretary Higher Education Mrs. Anju Sharma and Commissioner of Higher Education, Mr. Nataraja were also present and guided by attending the video conference.
