 The Hindu calendar or the Hindu calendar is complicated by the Gregorian calendar.  Every four years, one day a month is added to the Gregorian calendar, so that the synergy between 354 lunar and 365 solar days can sit, but the former has a more complex pattern to it.  To maintain the totality of the lunar month, an entire month is added every few years through detailed calculations in the Indian calendar.
