Central govt's one more crore relief package

The central government has announced another relief package of Rs 1.5 lakh crore under the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee and Rs 1.10 lakh crore under the Loan Guarantee Scheme.

 Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of State Anurag Thakur announced the new relief package at a press conference this afternoon.  In which eight different issues are covered.  Under the Rs 1.10 lakh crore loan guarantee scheme, Rs 50,000 crore will be allocated to the health sector out of which health infrastructure services will be strengthened.  Provision has been made to provide a maximum loan of Rs 100 crore at an interest rate of 7.95 per cent.

 Apart from this, there will be a provision of Rs 60,000 crore for other sectors.

Corona has hit small businesses hard and raised questions about livelihoods.  To alleviate the plight of such small entrepreneurs, they announced a plan to provide loans of Rs 1.25 lakh for a period of three years to 25 lakh small entrepreneurs in the country.  Under the scheme, any small business owner will get a loan of Rs 1.5 lakh and the loan will be given at an interest rate of two per cent less than the maximum interest rate fixed by the Reserve Bank.

  Financial assistance will be provided to 11,000 registered travels and tourist guides to help the travel industry in the country which has been hit hard by the Corona.  The new relief package by the finance minister has covered all the areas affected by the corona and a total of eight different announcements have been made.
