The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has announced a new academic calendar with significant changes to the previously announced academic calendar.  The start of the new academic session will be delayed by approximately one and a half months due to the new academic calendar.

According to the old calendar, the new academic session was supposed to start from September 15. Now, according to the new calendar, it will start from October 25.  This means that the session will be started approximately 10 days late in a month.

The academic calendar is published by the All India Council of Technical Education keeping in view the situation of each state due to the Corona epidemic in the country.  An earlier academic calendar released by the council urged technical colleges in each state to complete the first round by August 31.  Students were similarly urged to enter the second round on September 9.  In this way P.G.  Admission to the course was instructed to be completed by 10th July.  Now a new academic calendar has been announced by the council.  According to the new calendar, the admission process for first year students has to be completed by October 25.  Proceedings for diploma degree students must be completed by October 30th.  The academic calendar is believed to have been delayed by one to one-and-a-half months after it was once announced by the council in view of the Corona transition situation in different states in the country.  Because of this decision of the council, each state will also have to change its admission process.
