What is a simple pension plan?
This scheme of LIC has been named as Simple Pension Scheme.  This is a single premium pension plan.  In which you only have to pay premium once while taking the policy.

And then you will get a pension for the rest of your life.  There the single premium is refunded to the nominee on the death of the policyholder.  A simple pension plan is an immediate annuity plan.  As soon as you take this policy, you will start getting pension.  After taking this policy, you get the same pension for the rest of your life.

There are two ways to get this pension plan
 Single Life
The policy will be in one's name as long as the pensioner is alive, he will continue to receive a pension.  The amount of base premium will be refunded to his nominee after his death.

 Joint Life
It has coverage of both spouses.  As long as the primary pensioner is alive, he will continue to receive the pension.  After his death, his spouse will continue to receive a lifetime pension.  The amount of base premium will be handed over to his nominee after his death.

Who can take a simple pension plan?
The minimum age limit to be a part of this scheme is 40 years and the maximum is 80 years.  Because this is a lifelong policy, you get a pension for the rest of your life.  As long as the pensioner is alive.  The policy can be surrendered anytime after six months from the date of commencement of the simple pension policy.
