Bank Holidays in





 November is starting with festivals in the country.  In this case there will be a holiday in most departments.  In this regard, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has also released a list of Bank Holidays in November 2021.

 With the big festivals like Dhanteras, Diwali, Bhai Dooj, Chhath Puja and Guru Nanak Jayanti in November 2021, there will be no normal business in the banks for a total of 17 days


However these 17-day holidays will not be together in banks across the country.  In some states there will be additional holidays depending on the festivals and celebrations celebrated there.  Let it be known that RBI publishes a complete list of holidays every month.  Let us know in which state the banks will be closed.

 11 days leave under the Negotiable Instruments Act
 If the customers of the bank want to settle the necessary work related to the branch, it should be settled within this month.  The RBI has declared holidays on November 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19, 22 and 23 under the Negotiable Instruments Act.  Apart from this there will be bank holidays across the country on the second and fourth Saturdays in November and every Sunday.

November 4 - Diwali Amavasya (Lakshmi Pujan) / Diwali / Kali Puja - Banks closed in all states except Bengaluru
November 5 - Diwali (Bali Pratipada) / Vikram Samvat New Year / Govardhan Pooja - Banks closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bangalore, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai and Nagpur
November 6 - Bhai Dooj / Chitragupta Jayanti / Lakshmi Pooja / Diwali / Ningol Chakoba - Banks closed in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow and Shimla
November 7 - Sunday
November 10 - Chhath Puja / Surya Shashthi Dala Chhath - Banks closed in Patna and Ranchi
November 11 - Chhath Puja - Bank closed in Patna
November 12 - Wangla Festival - Banks closed in Shillong
November 13 - Saturday (second Saturday of the month)
November 14 - Sunday
November 19 - Guru Nanak Jayanti / Kartik Purnima - Bank closures in Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar
November 21 - Sunday
November 22 - Kanakdas Jayanti - Bank closes in Bengaluru
November 23 - Seng Kutsnam - Bank closes in Shillong
November 27 - Saturday (4th Saturday of the month)
November 28 - Sunday
